Amidst the DCU Drama, 7 Years Old Deathstroke Video on Ben Affleck’s Facebook Crosses 3.9 Million Views, Fans Push for More

Recently, DC Universe has gone through a lot of changes after James Gunn and Peter Safran took over control. Including Henry Cavill’s Superman and Ben Affleck’s Batman, the new DC bosses axed many fan-favorite DC characters. However, an old video posted by the Batman actor resurfaced on the internet. And fans want more of his batman.

In 2016, Affleck posted a clip on his Facebook handle which reached 3.9 million views. The clip showed 27 seconds of Deathstroke, the supervillain in the DC Universe. He has balance and bodily coordination which are enhanced to superhuman levels. It allows him to easily evade rapid gunfire. Fans love the character and want Affleck to be in his Batman suit to fight the villain.

This 7-year-old clip sent the fandom into a frenzy as they could not stop gushing over the character. They even started a hashtag and campaigned for the Gone Girl actor’s return as Batman. James Gunn is making a new Batman film that would focus on Batman’s son Robin. Therefore, the Justice League actor had to say goodbye to the iconic role. However, while there are talks about him directing the next Batman film, fans want to see Affleck in the Batman suit once again.

Fans want Ben Affleck as Batman once again

Many talented actors have played the iconic character of Batman. Even Michael Keaton’s Batman is returning in The Flash film along with Affleck’s Batman. However, after watching this clip, fans do not want their favorite actor to leave the character. They demanded more Batfleck films.

While fans want Affleck’s Batman back, they also campaigned for the restoration of the Snyderverse. They have been appealing to Netflix to buy Snyderverse. Also, they have urged Warner Bros. and DC Studios to sell the rights of Snyderverse to the American OTT platform as they can not get enough of their favorite superheroes.
