post-apocalyptic zombie heist film instantly became a smash hit when it first
arrived on Netflix in 2021. Fans of the director were delighted to see him
return to his filmmaking roots. In fact, the streamer announced that his Las
Vegas-set show will expand this universe but gave no updates.

Now, after months of anticipation and cancellation rumors, the project has
finally seen the light of the day.

Zack Snyder recently took to Vero, an algorithm-free social network to respond
to a user. In the post, the fan had asked if the series was “dead dead,” to
which the director responded with “No”. The page that goes by Snyder Netflix
Updates shared the news on X, formerly Twitter. This update might have finally
put people’s minds to rest who have been wondering about the show.
