The 5th installment of Spy Kids, titled Spy Kids: Armageddon, marks the
franchise’s return after a long hiatus. Fans are up for a treat as the
multi-million franchise debuted on Netflix. Spy Kids, which is inspired by James
Bond flicks and Latino themes, is a reboot rather than a direct sequel to the
original movies. While the streamer hoped that this would prove to be another
crowd attractor, it seems to have dropped the axe on its own foot with its
latest Spy Kids post.

Fans of X, formerly known as Twitter, felt nostalgic when the streaming giant
shared a photo of Antonio Banderas and Carla Gugino, who played a married couple
in a Spy Kids film. They reminisced about their performance as the latest
reboot, Spy Kids: Armageddon featured a completely different cast. More than the
plot, fans had an insightful debate about which character had looked the finest
in the movies.

Robert Rodriguez, the mastermind behind the movie, recently celebrated the
comeback of his franchise and opened up on why it had returned with new faces

While the crux remains the same, the faces and the circumstances seem to have

not be far-fetched to say that the resurfaced pictures of Carla Gugino

franchise and were eager to see them again. While they may not be able to see
the couple again, they will still watch Netflix’s reboot. Firstly, because the
