American Rapper Yung Joc Admits He “prayed and weeped” for the Villain That Kanye West Has Become

Yung Joc prayed for Kanye West. The Donda singer is undoubtedly one of the most creative minds known in the industry. Not only is he appreciated for his meaningful music but also for his fashion sense. From making rap songs about capitalism to collaborating with brands like Adidas and Balenciaga, the artist has come a long way.

Although much of it is now lost, thanks to his hurtful comments about both the Jewish community and black history. While many supported his free speech narrative, some of his statements have turned him into a villain in the eyes of many. For rapper Yung Joc, it is a matter of concern that he hopes will get better, eventually.

How Yung Joc prayed and wept for ‘villain’ Kanye West

While people have distanced themselves from Kanye West, they still hope for the betterment of the artist. Even though rapper Yung Joc criticized Kanye West, he also prayed for him. During an interview on the YouTube channel VLAD TV, Joc revealed how one of his closest friends named Sola was in the hospital, and while the rapper prayed for his friend, he asked himself who else he could pray for. That is when he heard Kanye West’s name on the radio and decided to pray for him as well. 

Explaining further, the Lost singer said, “When someone becomes a villain, no one weeps for the villain.” Referring to Ye as a villain, he expressed how no one hopes good for the villain, but Ye is an exception. The It’s Going Down rapper credited the Gold Digger singer for building an empire and establishing himself, to ruin it all with controversies.

He wishes that Ye would take some time off, and instead of people criticizing West, they would try to understand him.
