Ricky Gervais plays Gus: Ricky Gervais is well known for creating Extras, After Life, and The Office. Apart from lending his voice, he also wrote and directed Alley Cats.

Tom Basden as Ponce: Tom Basden is a famous actor and writer. He previously appeared in Plebs and worked with Gervais in After Life.

Andrew Brooke as Fang: Andrew Brooke is well known for his roles in Sherlock Holmes movies. He also appeared in After Life.

David Earl as Puke: David Earl is a British actor and comedian. Apart from his work in After Life and Extras, he appeared in Brian and Charles, Derek.

Plot of Alley Cats

Alley Cats is a six-part animated comedy following a group of feral cats living together in a single room of a house after being abandoned by everyone else. However, their lives take an unexpected turn when they discover a lost kitten and decide to help her find her way home. And along the way, the show explores themes of friendship, poverty, loss, and much more. The show is created, written, directed, and led by Ricky Gervais.

Release date of Alley Cats

Alley Cats will premiere worldwide on Netflix on August 7, 2026. All six episodes of the series will be released at the same time, bringing the chaos and dark comedy together. Each episode runs for under 20 minutes, making it an easy binge-watch. The entire season will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
