Queer Eye: Canceled after its tenth and final season, production of which began in Washington, D.C., this year. 

The Witcher: Concludes after its fifth and final season airs in 2026 deviating from its original plan of seven seasons.   

The Empress: Closes its final chapter with Season 3 due in 2026. 

Twilight of the Gods: Canceled in November 2025.

Fubar: Canceled after season 2.  

The Recruit: Canceled after just two seasons.   

The Ultimatum: Queer Love: Canceled after the second season.  

Tour de France: Unchained: Netflix does not plan on continuing with this sports docu-series any longer. 

The Sandman: Canceled following its second and final season.   

Survival of the Thickest: Canceled after its third and final season 

Heartbreak High: Canceled after its third and final season.

Starting 5: Benched after two seasons.

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft: Canceled with only two seasons.  

Wolf King: Canceled after the premiere of its second and final season.  

Six Nations: Full Contact: Not returning for a third season of rugby action.

Surviving Summer: Aussie teen drama will not return after Season 2.

This is not the first year Netflix has pulled the plug on shows with serious potential and a cult fandom. For instance, fans had a heartbreak in the last couple of years following the sudden cancellations of shows like 1899, Julie and the Phantoms, The OA, Shadow and Bone, Archive 81, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, The Brothers Sun, Mindhunter, and more.

Pulse: Medical drama canceled after a single season run in 2025. 

The Residence: Canceled after a single season despite critical acclaim and binge-worthy plotline.

Shafted: Canceled by Netflix in March 2025 after one season. 

Territory: Netflix will not be renewing the neo-Western drama after Season 1.

Good Times: Canceled after a controversial first season that caught severe socio-cultural backlash online. 

Exploding Kittens: Canceled after Season 1 in December 2025.

No Good Deed: Canceled after season 1 due to lukewarm viewership.
