Vikings Valhalla wrapped season 2 filming back in November 2021 and now it has announced the shoot for season 3.

Ahead of Season 3 Filming, ‘Vikings: Valhalla’ Starts Its Hunt for Extras

Vikings: Valhalla was renewed for seasons 2 and 3 even before the show
premiered. Netflix had ordered 24 episodes in total. These episodes were split
into three seasons, which meant automatic renewal for two more seasons. Season 1
garnered a lot of views with close to 200 million streaming hours and was one of
the top-performing shows on Netflix.

Vikings: Valhalla season 2 had already finished filming back in November 2021,
whereas season 3 is to begin filming in spring 2022. The filming will start in
May 2022 and the shoot will continue throughout the summer in Ashford and
Wicklow in Ireland. Talking to Digital Spy,

Jeb Stuart is keeping the plot for the upcoming season under wraps. But he has

that the Vikings were great traders as well. This will lead them to explore the
world and the different cultures at large. “They were great traders. So they

Iberian Peninsula and obviously England and Ireland. So you can probably guess
that my Vikings are going to get on their boats and explore a little bit.”
