The award-winning Netflix series, Stranger Things, has had its fans in a chokehold, ever since the show began in 2016. From day one, fans have fallen for the show’s intriguing storyline and even the characters that viewers find hard not to love. However, it was announced that fans would have to bid adieu to their favorites since the series was coming up on its final season in 2024. But with the SAG-AFTRA strike in full swing, fans have only received the news of delays in production, until now.

Recently, fans were told that the Stranger Things season 5 release date had been pushed all the way back to 2025, but it was never made official. Now fans were suddenly surprised when a fan page posted an update with a video of a destroyed Scoops Ahoy from the series. While it may have just brought in way more confusion and questions, fans immediately started losing their minds.

Once the news spread, the speculations began. The video may have been short, but it stirred the viewers to wonder what the season could hold. It also fueled rumors of maybe a push-up in the release date, but most social media users just seemed confused as to what the whole thing meant. The speculations swirled as the fan page had reposted the same post from Netflix’s Stranger Things update page, that captioned the video, “excuse our mess…”

The latest Stranger Things update has the internet confused, but excited

After months of being torn in two about the happenings of Stranger Things season 5 began a train of good news and fans of the Emmy-winning show were finally given something from a more reliable source. Netflix decided to add to the hype for the season and put out a video that was immediately re-shared by other fan pages. While it may have just been a ten-second video, it was enough to drive fans into a complete frenzy.

While most Stranger Things fans were looking forward to the fifth season, there were people who did not seem to be too impressed with the series.

And then there were the fans who just wanted to know when the final season would be gracing their screens again.

So far there has been no confirmation on when fans can expect Stranger Things to make its way back to Netflix, but hopefully, fans will not have to wait till 2025 before they get the final season of the globally loved franchise.
