Kanye West made it to the Forbes list, but for losing his billionaire status
As per Forbes, nearly half of the planet’s billionaires are poorer than they were last year. This list includes Crypto King Sam Bankman-Fried, Carvana’s Ernest Garcia III, and, of course, designer Kanye West. He was proud and happy when he made it to the list of Forbes billionaires. But fast forward to today, he has lost a whopping amount of $1,600,000,000. His total net worth was $2 billion, but his current number is only about $400 million.
Ye came from humble beginnings and has always been appreciated for making it big in the entertainment industry. But the rapper has not been in the best conditions, especially since he went on a barrage of offensive comments. The singer didn’t think Adidas would do much about the controversies, but the increasing flak forced them to cut ties. Both the company and the celebrity are suffering as a result.

But problems for Ye do not end there. Lack of work and an expensive lifestyle continue to degrade his pool of wealth.
How Ye’s wealth is seeing a continuous downfall
It has been a while since Ye won awards or released any majorly successful album. His ‘Donda 2’ was dropped exclusively on Stem player, but apparently, he did not make any profits. To top it, the court ordered him to pay $200k into child maintenance for his four children in marriage with Kim Kardashian. Non-payment of professional fees has also landed him in multiple suits filed by his former employees, who now seek compensation.
