Season 3 will be the last season of After Life, but for now, fans should rejoice about the much-awaited trailer.

A pretty basic realization has made Tony change his course for good in season 3. When Lisa died, ‘not caring’ became a superpower for Tony, but he has finally come to his senses. “Caring about stuff, that’s what really matters,” Tony explains to Matt. These changes have led Tony on a new quest to scatter his dad’s ashes.

However, there are some glimpses of the old, uncaring Tony, who can even throw his dad’s ashes if annoyed. So, the last season won’t be short on comedy, which we all love. Brandy, as always, keeps us hooked to the screen, but this season might have even more of Lisa.

Release date and plot of season 3

Netflix had already tweeted about the premiere of After Life, which will premiere on January 14. Three seasons are, of course, not enough, but if the creator doesn’t want to extend it, then there is no point in arguing. In addition, it looks like the story is coming to a natural end of season 3, so there is no point in stretching.

The YouTube description of the trailer read:

“It’s the final season of After Life and Tony (Ricky Gervais) is still desperately mourning the loss of his wife, Lisa. Will he ever truly embrace the future if he can’t let go of the past? Watch After Life (Season 3), Only on Netflix, January 14.”

Therefore, fans will have to watch for themselves whether the plot deviates by throwing some unexpected turn.
