<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Netflix has brought in some must-watch from all over the world. Not only exclusives, but the platform is expanding its reach by leasing content from other renowned platforms. Just last month, the hilarious comedy-drama about an African American woman’s experiences came on live on screen in </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Insecure. </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Issa Rae starrer series came to the platform with all five seasons. And interestingly, exclusive reports by Variety in 2020 claimed that the </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Insecure </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">actress would partner up with Dwayne Johnson to create an HBO show about a struggling pro-wrestler. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Although further news about The Rock’s involvement in this mysterious project titled “TRE-CNT” has not resurfaced, we can see the veteran WWE wrestler putting his skills to use in yet another HBO show. And it is all set to make its way to the streaming giant.</span></p>
<h2><strong>Dwayne Johnson to make an appearance on Netflix with a comedy-drama</strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Home Box Office company has been known to remain exclusive with its content. Very rarely did shows from their network ever make it to other platforms. Except for a brief stint of pushing old work to Prime Video, the recent partnering up of the two American streaming platforms came fresh. The Warner Bros. Disney-owned HBO has opened up its licensing plates and will hand over some famous titles to the streaming giant. And among those titles will be Dwayne &#8220;The Rock&#8221; Johnson&#8217;s <em>Ballers. </em></span></p>

With this show, Johnson strayed away from his usual array of action films, making the new role of a mentor and businessman very fun to watch. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The 47 episodes that provided great comedic relief will be added to the streaming giant on August 16.</span></p>

<p>Steven Spielberg&#8217;s classics have raked the fandoms for years. Be it <em>Jurassic Park </em>or<em> ET the Extra Terrestrial, </em>the filmmaker is a stellar producer. Even <em>Barbie&#8217;s </em><a href="https://www.netflixjunkie.com/hollywood-news-a-billion-dollars-margot-robbie-reveals-the-sales-pitch-that-got-barbie-made-and-how-she-used-steven-spielberg-for-it/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Margot Robbie used the &#8216;dinosaurs and Spielberg&#8217; example</a> to convince Greta Gerwig to come on board. With the recent licensing, Spielberg&#8217;s war-based <em>Band of Brothers </em>will make its way to Netflix.</p>
