While fans were still reeling from the grips of the season 5 tease, Shawn Levy dropped another bombshell, this time, hinting at the whereabouts of the next Stranger Things teaser trailer.

Stranger Things season 5 is coming to fans in November 2025, and the stakes? They are higher than ever. Shortly after the Tudum live event unveilings for Stranger Things season 5, thanks to Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and Caleb McLaughlin, Shawn Levy took to Instagram to share the date announcement when a fan, kevsa448, sprang up in the comments, urging for the “real trailer” instead. Though Levy did not drop a date per se, he wasted no time with his response, saying, “...soon enough….”

“The End is almost here,” Levy captioned the date announcement clip on X. Of course, it might be a little too early to guess the next trailer drop date right about now. However, Levy took his time to reply to the fans on the thread. A fan even asked how hard it is for him to bid adieu to Stranger Things after 10 years of sci-fi cruising. Levy had just one simple word to describe that hardship: “VERY.”

While fans must stay tuned for the Hawkins gates to open one last time, when is Stranger Things coming to fans? 

Stranger Things is counting the days until its end. And if you think it will go out without a bang, you are mistaken. Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and Caleb McLaughlin pulled the rug from under their feet on May 31 at the Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event with a season 5 release date reveal. The fifth and final season of the Netflix sci-fi series is about to come in three parts, with the first debuting on November 26, the second on December 25, and the series finale on December 31.

Stranger Things season 4 premiered in 2022 in two parts. They were released separately in May and July. Though the anticipation for Stranger Things season 5 had fans nearing a saturation point, the rumor mill was abuzz about a release schedule revelation ahead of the Tudum live event. And now with Shawn Levy fanning the flames of a “real trailer” coming soon, the beginning of the end is officially near.
