Controversy as a marketing engine by 50 Cent
This is not the first time 50 Cent has used controversy as fuel. He has a long history of leveraging social media to amplify his projects, often mixing humor, provocation, and sharp commentary to dominate the news cycle. From his legendary online feuds to his strategic boardroom reveals, he understands that attention is the most valuable currency in the entertainment industry.
During his bankruptcy proceedings in 2016, he famously posted photos of himself surrounded by stacks of cash used to spell out the word "broke." While a judge questioned the transparency of his filings, the images achieved exactly what he intended: absolute viral dominance.
