According to The Sun, Netflix's upcoming documentary will be fronted by Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson; therefore, Harry Styles and Niall Horan will not appear in the effort to explore One Direction’s legacy. However, the saga will not leave Styles and Horan out of the conversation entirely, as Malik and Tomlinson are expected to speak about their life as bandmates and the group’s shared history. The documentary will see the two going on a road trip, traveling across the USA.

One Direction’s late member Liam Payne, who recently had his own posthumous Netflix outing, is also expected to be remembered. His influence on the group and the void left by his passing will be part of the reflections shared on screen, reported The Sun. Rather than avoiding difficult memories, the documentary will confront them, adding a personal and emotional layer. With cameras reportedly rolling already, the documentary aims to balance nostalgia with poignant moments, and it will mark Zayn Malik’s first on-screen reunion with a former bandmate despite past remarks about the group’s challenges.
