She added that while she could not provide a concrete answer, the show has long served as an "incubator" for not only her music but also her co-stars'.
Maya Hawke elaborated on the unique relationship between her acting and songwriting, explaining that Stranger Things has inspired much of her work.
“Basically every season, I have written an album while I was making the season,” the superior nepo baby shared.
"And we filmed a season, and there hasn't been any new albums. So maybe," she added teasingly.
Hawke on The Tonight Show was especially appreciative of another Hawkins member's musical work, saying that even if she ends up releasing songs, she might not be able to beat one from Joe Keery.
