The series has been “reviewed” by Liam Payne’s family and is moving ahead only after their approval per Netflix. Meanwhile, in the wake of Payne’s demise, a source told PEOPLE that the show’s producers were dismayed by his tragic passing as the singer had shown no signs of struggle while taping his part of the production.
