People are no strangers to Karol G, who has millions grooving to her hit songs, including 'Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido' to 'TQG.' She made history by becoming the first Latina to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2026. She broke through in the reggaeton scene as a leading female artist, and her album 'Mañana Será Bonito' made history on the Billboard 200 as the first-ever No. 1 album by a female artist sung entirely in Spanish.

Given the rise, Karol G's journey has naturally become the talk of the town, especially with the release of a supposed Karol G documentary making rounds and whether it is on Netflix.

Karol G and Netflix have indeed collaborated on a documentary titled Karol G: Tomorrow Was Beautiful. It follows her journey from Medellín to becoming the global superstar she is today. Directed by Cristina Costantini, the film sees her open up about her life, career, and the challenges she faced while rising to the top.

It also explores her experience making her record-breaking 'Mañana Será Bonito stadium tour.' Interestingly, the phrase Mañana Será Bonito, which is from her fourth album, translates to “Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful.” The documentary, which premiered on May 8, 2025, is now available to stream on Netflix. Alongside its release, she had also dropped the song Milagros to celebrate the occasion.

Apart from her own story, the film shines a light on the people who supported her throughout her journey. Her boyfriend, Feid, makes an appearance. And her friend, Becky G, also appears in the documentary.

While the documentary offers a peak into what led to the stardom that she now holds, Karol G is already setting up her mic to add more chapters for the books.
