Born on November 5, 1990, in Kansas City, Missouri, Christian Lee Hutson is a well-known singer-songwriter and indie folk musician. His mellifluous journey began with The Driftwood Singers and as a solo artist with ANTI- since 2019. Some of his albums co-produced by Phoebe Bridgers include 'Beginners' (2020) and 'Quitters' (2022), as well as 'Paradise Pop. 10' (2024), which gained positive reviews for effectively blending folk, Americana, and retro-country. The 'Age Difference' singer has also mastered acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin, and fiddle alongside his soulful vocals. 

In various interviews, Hutson has cited Elliott Smith, Hank Williams, Gillian Welch, and Randy Newman, among other music legends, as his musical influences; however, his first love was writing fiction. While wanting to become a novelist as a child, he found his passion in music, as he revealed to The Line of Best Fit in 2024, "By the time I was 13 years old, I was like, ‘I don’t know if I could be a novelist now, but I like music.’" Previously married to singer-songwriter Sharon Silva, ultimately, through music, Hutson found the love of his life in Maya Hawke, as their relationship comprises years of creative connection.

The couple who have been dating for the last four years are still going strong, as Maya Hawke prepares to bid adieu to the epicenter of her fame, Hawkins, to enter a new blockbuster journey.

Maya Hawke and Christian Lee Hutson's paths crossed first during the making of her album 'Moss,' and later on, 'Chaos Angel,' through their shared musical passion. They were first linked romantically in 2022. In December 2023, photos of the duo kissing were published by the Daily Mail, confirming their dating rumors. The two together attended the April 2025 premiere of the play John Proctor Is the Villain to support Sadie Sink, which is when they officially became public as a couple. 

Though private about their relationship usually, Hawke once gushed about her friends-to-lovers romance with Hutson's on the Zach Sang Show, saying, "I cannot recommend highly enough dating your friends." The couple has also let the sparks of their romance fly on stage to celebrate 'Chaos Angel', making musical memories together with several concerts. Most recently, a diamond ring on Hawke's finger spotted by photographers in Manhattan in April 2025 sparked engagement rumors; however, the low-key couple never confirmed such speculations.
