Diddy Documentary on Netflix: Here’s Everything We Know About the 50 Cent Project So Far
Feuds between rappers are nothing new. And the one between Sean Combs, aka Diddy, and Curtis James Jackson, aka 50 Cent, has been simmering in the hip-hop world for quite some time. Their beef, which goes way back to the early 2000s, only really came to the forefront when Diddy came under investigation earlier this year. Since the charges came to light, 50 Cent has not passed up one chance to throw Diddy under the bus. And now, the ‘Many Men’ artist has taken yet another dive into Diddy's legal controversy.
After taking several public jabs at Diddy on social media, 50 Cent is about to produce a Netflix documentary about the rapper's allegations.

Variety recently confirmed that 50 Cent has teamed up with Netflix to produce a docuseries on music mogul Diddy, who is currently awaiting trial. Cent will serve as executive producer through his G-Unit Film & Television company, with Alexandria Stapleton, who will also be at the helm as the director. The show is expected to dig deep into Diddy's allegations, covering every facet of his ongoing federal case.
In a joint statement to Variety, Stapleton and 50 Cent shared, “It is a complex narrative spanning decades, not just the headlines or clips seen so far”. While they acknowledge that the allegations against Diddy are "disturbing," they firmly believe it does not represent what hip-hop stands for. However, many fans still speculate that shedding light on the case may not be the only motivation behind the docuseries.
Ever since news of Diddy's arrest hit the headlines, 50 Cent has been relentlessly trolling the 'Last Night' rapper at every turn.

After Diddy’s arrest, 50 Cent shared an image of Johnson’s Baby Oil on X to mock the rapper. He tweaked the label to read "Diddy Oil" and added the caption, "Coming soon! LOL." Earlier this month, he also shared a photo with Drew Barrymore on Instagram and sarcastically commented about not having “1,000 bottles of **be at the house”.
This “**be” remark links back to the details that were revealed during a press conference and a detention memo. 50 Cent first announced the documentary in December, when only four civil suits had been filed against Combs. By May, the project had made its way to Netflix. Yet, given Cent’s history with Diddy, chances are the docuseries is yet another way for the 'Intro' artist to fuel his fellow rapper's legal woes.
