The streaming options for the unreleased movie Dragon Ball Super: Beerus have not yet been revealed. However, it is likely to drop on Crunchyroll, which already hosts Dragon Ball Super. As of now, there is no update on whether Netflix will add the newest and highly anticipated release to its library.
The film was announced during the Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri event in Japan in the presence of the voice actors Masako Nozawa (Son Goku) and Koichi Yamadera (God of Destruction Beerus), as well as executive producer Akio Iyoku. The enhanced edition will have upgraded visuals, new animation and audio, aiming for a more faithful take on Akira Toriyama’s original work. It will follow the God of Destruction Beerus waking up from a slumber and arriving on Earth in search of the Saiyan God. This is not the only show returning this year.
A new animated series, Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol, is also mentioned at the same event, as reported by Variety. This new series is expected to pick up after the Universe Survival Arc from the latest TV series, which ran from 2015 to 2018. Now, while Netflix may not have the newest title in its library just yet, there is another intriguing offering for Dragon Ball fandom.
The streaming giant features another rare animation gem that is worth a look.
