Unsurprisingly, Kevin Hart is making headlines after Netflix’s latest roast event. He did not hold himself back while hosting The Roast of Tom Brady back in 2024. This year, after a long wait, the comedian finally became the main focus of the roast show.

And the tables quickly turned when NFL legend Tom Brady appeared as a guest and revisited one of the most talked-about controversies from Hart’s personal life. He referred to the 2017 incident in which the actor and comedian publicly addressed an alleged extortion attempt online. And it seems fans still remember the incident.

During the opening segment of Netflix’s The Roast of Kevin Hart, Tom Brady made a joke about “Las Vegas affairs,” which appeared to be a reference to Kevin Hart’s 2017 controversy. That year, Hart faced allegations of infidelity while his wife, Eniko Parrish, was pregnant. And it had continued to get worse.

TMZ had reported that an unidentified woman allegedly demanded money from Hart after the two were reportedly involved in a “s******* suggestive” video. Hart later addressed the controversy in an online video, where he apologized to his wife and family. He also promised to become a better husband and father in his lengthy message.

"And I made a bad error in judgement and I put myself in a bad environment where only bad things can happen and they did. And in doing that I know that I’m going to hurt the people closest to me, who’ve I talked to and apologized to, that would be my wife and my kids," he said.

The apology video quickly garnered traction across social media. Despite the controversy, Hart and his wife have worked on their relationship and are married to each to other. The two share two children.

Now, the personal jokes did not come as much of a surprise, especially from Tom Brady, who himself was the target of several personal jokes during The Roast of Tom Brady in 2024. Jeff Ross had earlier hinted at this while speaking on Obsessed: The Podcast, even warning Hart to prepare for the heat.
