From an accidental detective dissecting complicated truths in Internal Affairs to dangerous, obsessive journalists-turned-stalkers in Nightcrawler, Netflix is home to some of the most addictive thriller series. I Will Find You is one of its latest thrillers, which never strays from the dramatic twists, emotional aspects, and suspense. Apart from the Harlan Coben adaptation, the streaming giant boasts several timeless classics that are worth watching for their suspense, mystery, and jaw-dropping secrets.

When it comes to thrillers, some classic films remain far ahead of their time. One such film is the British thriller The Lady Vanishes, directed by legendary filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock. The film follows an English tourist named Iris Henderson, who befriends an elderly woman named Miss Froy during a train journey.

However, when her new friend mysteriously disappears, Iris is shocked to discover that the other passengers deny Miss Froy ever existed. Thus begins the suspenseful 1938 classic, as Iris teams up with fellow passenger Gilbert to find out the truth, only to stumble upon a web of shocking secrets and a dangerous conspiracy.

Nightcrawler is the directorial debut of Dan Gilroy, who also wrote the film. What makes this thriller interesting is that it explores morality as well as the ruthless, corrupt side of the world. The film follows Lou Bloom, a freelance stringer who spends his nights chasing crime scenes and accidents, filming graphic footage to sell to local TV news stations. 

But as his ambition grows, Lou stops being just an observer and begins tampering with crime scenes for more thrilling footage. And the tension escalates as he continues crossing the boundaries. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, who showed a terrific performance, alongside Rene Russo, Riz Ahmed, and Bill Paxton.

Directed by Andrew Lau, Infernal Affairs is a Hong Kong crime drama film. It follows conspiracy and betrayals deep in the world of crime. It is about an undercover police officer who infiltrated a powerful Hong Kong triad, while, unknowingly, a gangster planted by the same crime boss rises through the ranks of the police force. However, it is not too long before both sides realise the moles leading both attempts to expose each other.

As the two confront, they not only face deadly dangers but also struggle with their double lives. Andy Lau, Edison Chen, Tony Leung Chiu-wai, and Shawn Yue are part of the cast.

Directed by Steven Soderbergh, Side Effects is a crime thriller that is sure to keep the viewers hooked till the end, as only more and more webs of lies and conspiracy continue to get entangled in the movie. It follows Emily, who suffers from depression after her husband's release from prison. And she is prescribed an experimental antidepressant. 

However, the medicines lead to a shocking side effect and eventually an incident that leads to a brutal m***** and destroys her psychiatrist's career. The rest follows Dr. Banks as he tries to find out the truth, conspiracy, and much more. The cast, including Jude Law, Rooney Mara, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Channing Tatum, alongside others, show an impressive performance to bring the horror to life.

One of the most popular thriller tropes is revenge, and that is the heart of Blue Rain. The movie follows a drifter named Dwight Evans, who discovers that the person who k***** his parents has been released from prison. And that sets him out to seek revenge against the man.

In his quest, he discovers shocking secrets. And as the situation spirals, it leads to violence and a blood bath. Macon Blair, Devin Ratray, Amy Hargreaves, Kevin Kolack, and Eve Plumb are part of the cast. The film is both written and directed by Jeremy Saulnier.

  Written and directed by Joel Coen and Ethan Coen, Fargo is a twisted thriller movie. It follows a car salesman, Jerry, who hires two criminals to kidnap his wife so he can collect ransom money from his wealthy father-in-law. However, his plan leads to multiple m******, with police chief Marge investigating the case.   

Frances McDormand starred in the film as Marge, while William H. Macy appeared as Jerry. Steve Buscemi, Harve Presnell, and Peter Stormare are also part of the cast. 

Justin Kurzel's directorial debut, Snowtown, is a psychological crime thriller based on a harrowing true story. It follows teenager Jamie, who is influenced by John Bunting to join him as an accomplice in his v****** crimes. This psychological thriller explores abuse and trauma. Daniel Henshall played the role of John Bunting, while Lucas Pittaway appeared as Jamie in the movie. Aaron Viergever, David Walker, Louise Harris, Keiran Schwerdt, and Bob Adriaens are part of the cast, among others.
