‘Paddington in Peru’ Sets Netflix Streaming Date for the Bear’s Third Big Adventure

However, this time, it is no rabbit but the bear from the Paddington movie series. The superhit third installment, Paddington in Peru, which had been brewing anticipation for its streaming release, is about to find a home on the streaming giant. 

For those wondering when the box office draw will be available on Netflix for a bear-sized binge, whispers on the streaming street suggest the wait is not that long.

When will Paddington in Peru be released on Netflix?

Paddington in Peru, recently theatrically released in the US in February 2025, is about to land on Netflix. Netflix announced on Thursday that the third installment will debut on the streaming platform for US viewers on May 15. The film has already had a streaming release on Netflix for UK viewers on April 8. For those unaware, Paddington in Peru is a 2024 live-action animated adventure comedy based on Michael Bond’s Paddington stories. The film follows the Brown family’s journey across the Peruvian jungle in search of Paddington’s aunt Lucy.

Paddington in Peru was released on November 8, 2024, in the UK, February 5, 2025, in France, and February 14, 2025, in the US. The film has grossed a whopping $191.6 million against a reported budget of $75-90 million. Dougal Wilson directed the flick, which serves as his feature film debut. Principal photography happened between July and October 2023 in the UK, Colombia, and Peru.
