Netflix is going to officially add Jennifer’s Body to its collection on May 1st, 2026, allowing subscribers to stream the iconic 2009 horror hit. The plot follows a popular cheerleader who becomes possessed by a demon and begins hunting her male classmates. Megan Fox stars as the succubus while Amanda Seyfried plays the nerdy best friend tasked with ending the gruesome terror.

The cheerleader begins a gruesome k****** spree by preying on her male classmates to maintain her supernatural strength and beauty. Her nerdy best friend must eventually confront the monster and find a way to end the reign of terror.

Audiences should revisit this legendary horror classic before the highly anticipated sequel currently enters the pre-production phase. Writer Diablo Cody recently discussed the possibility of a sequel during an appearance on The Boo Crew podcast. She explained that she feels more freedom now than she did during the original production process.

"It is more like all the ways in which I was restrained on the first movie, I’m now unleashed", Cody stated.

This potential follow-up would focus on being bold rather than cautious, moving away from the typical constraints of the first film. The writer described a feeling of being careless in the best way while approaching the new script. This news has sparked significant excitement among long-time fans who have advocated for more stories within this universe.
