The 2016 thriller movie, Don’t Breathe, is available on Netflix. For those without a Netflix subscription, the film is also available to rent on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV. Running for nearly 1 hour and 29 minutes, the movie keeps viewers hooked with its intense plot, which follows three Detroit thieves, Rocky, Alex, and Money, who break into the house of a blind war veteran, only to realize that the seemingly easy heist could land them in deadly trouble.
This begins the intense chain of events as the blind veteran, who is far more skilled than expected, traps the trio inside. The film stars Stephen Lang as the war veteran, Norman Nordstrom, alongside Jane Levy as Rocky, Dylan Minnette as Alex, and Daniel Zovatto as Money. Directed by Fede Álvarez, the movie went on to earn $157.1 million worldwide.
Its success led to a sequel in 2021. Co-written by Rodo Sayagues and Fede Álvarez, Don’t Breathe 2 was directed by Sayagues, with Stephen Lang reprising his role. The sequel is available to stream on Hulu or rent on Amazon.
While Don’t Breathe 2 is not currently available to watch on Netflix, the platform has yet another thriller gem series, Man on Fire.
