Is there a Christa Pike documentary on Netflix?
No, there is currently no Christa Pike documentary available on Netflix. However, viewers looking to learn more about the case have several other options.

So, while Netflix subscribers cannot currently watch a dedicated Christa Pike documentary on the platform, there are several alternatives covering the case.
What happened to Christa Pike?
Christa Pike was 18 years old when she and two other Job Corps students became involved in the January 1995 killing of 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer in Knoxville, Tennessee. Pike was convicted of first-degree murder and conspiracy in 1996 and sentenced to death.
According to court and news accounts, Pike believed Slemmer was interested in her boyfriend, Tadaryl Shipp. Pike, Shipp, and another student lured Slemmer to an isolated area of the University of Tennessee’s agricultural campus, where Slemmer was beaten and killed. The case received intense attention because of the brutality of the crime and the satanic imagery involved.

Pike has remained on Tennessee’s death row for approximately 30 years. Her case has also prompted renewed discussion about her age at the time of the crime and her documented history of childhood abuse and trauma. Those issues have been central to her attorneys’ recent efforts to have her death sentence commuted to life imprisonment, which was recently rejected on September 28.
Pike is now 50 and is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection on September 30, 2026, at 10 a.m. CDT. If carried out, the execution would make her the first woman executed in Tennessee since 1819, more than 200 years ago.
For viewers specifically searching Netflix for Pike’s story, however, there is currently no dedicated documentary about Christa Pike on the platform, but there are many other crime documentaries they can watch.
