Now, Netflix has signed a massive multi-year streaming agreement that brings hundreds of post-apocalyptic episodes to international viewers.

According to a recent announcement by Netflix, Netflix and AMC Global Media are now in a multi-year global licensing agreement granting shared streaming rights across platforms, stretching through to 2032. This major partnership includes the original hit series, The Walking Dead, along with all 6 spin-off titles comprising the franchise. Enthusiasts can look forward to accessing an impressive collection totalling 371 episodes across the entire saga.

Netflix has served as the exclusive American streaming home since 2011. As this deal expands access internationally, viewers in territories such as the United Kingdom, Italy, Australia, and New Zealand will gain official access. The global rollout ensures that international subscribers can stream their favourite survival stories seamlessly.

Netflix confirmed that spin-offs like Fear the Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, and The Walking Dead: Dead City will arrive on Netflix and AMC globally in 2027. Titles including The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, World Beyond, and Tales of The Walking Dead will also stream alongside AMC+ availability. Regional availability dates will vary based on existing local licensing agreements.

Netflix leadership highlighted that global audiences have embraced the franchise on their platform for nearly 15 years. Executives expressed great enthusiasm for expanding international access and bringing the complete storyline to more subscribers worldwide. This initiative aims to welcome new viewers while satisfying longtime enthusiasts across diverse territories.

The co-exclusive structure allows the original series to debut on AMC+ for the first time early next year.
