Unfortunately, Send Help is not arriving on Netflix. However, the hit survival thriller is available to buy on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV. It is also expected to be available to stream on Hulu from May 7, 2026.
The dark comedy from Sam Raimi arrives on digital platforms after its strong box office success. It earned around $20 million domestically in its opening weekend, surpassing expectations of $14–17 million. It quickly became one of the biggest early releases of 2026.
Now, the potential of the movie was evident even during previews, which brought in $2.2 million. All in all, the movie grossed about $65 million in the United States and Canada, with a jaw dropping $94 million worldwide. With its digital release, the film is now set to reach more people. And with a brilliant premise, strong box office run, and star-studded cast, the movie will continue its successful run.
While it is just yet another survival story, Raimi’s unique storytelling approach makes it intense and unpredictable.
What is Send Help about?
Send Help follows corporate strategist Linda Liddle, who has been waiting for a long-overdue promotion, only to be sidelined by a new hire. Things take a bitter turn when her boss mocks her, and after a confrontation, he invites her on an unexpected business trip. However, the real trouble begins when their plane crashes, leaving the two stranded on a deserted island as the only survivors.

Sam Raimi cleverly reshapes the dynamic between boss and employee, turning it into a tense battle for survival. The performances, particularly by Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien, elevate the film further. Edyll Ismail, Dennis Haysbert, and Xavier Samuel are also part of the cast. What was initially a fight for survival turned into a battle of control, and clearly, the island isn’t the only dangerous thing.
