As the most defining relationship in his life, the Canadian director wanted the
show to be an open love letter to the beautiful bond between a father and
daughter. Partially blind, Marie-Laure LeBlanc always got encouragement from her
father for her ability to see things with her unique vision. Apart from
motivation and appreciation, Daniel also built an entire model of the city they
lived in. Daniel LeBlanc, as a father, protected his daughter, while Marie-Laure
never gave up on her father.
