Directed and written by Luc Besson and billed as a gothic horror-romance based on Bram Stoker's classic novel, Dracula: A Love Story is currently not streaming on Netflix, as no deal has been finalized yet. The movie received a theatrical release in France on July 30, 2025. In several other territories, it will debut between October and December 2025, after which a modest theatrical release in North America will follow on February 6, 2026, through the distributor Vertical.
Where most movies ultimately move to streaming, Dracula: A Love Tale (Story) is at present tied exclusively to theaters in major markets. Tickets will be available for the movie in February 2026, though no streaming information has been released yet. Netflix's decision to buy it will depend on post-theatrical licensing arrangements, to be negotiated months later. Meanwhile, viewers can catch the tale of Count Dracula's star-crossed romance in theatres, one that continues to captivate viewers despite countless retellings.

The tale follows centuries of the curse of Dracula, and an unrelenting pursuit of being reunited with his lost love in 19th-century London. In the film, Caleb Landry Jones brings Count Dracula (Prince Vladimir) to life, who is haunted by sorrow following the loss of his wife, Elisabeta. Zoë Bleu plays Mina Murray, a lady who bears a striking resemblance to his deceased spouse. Meanwhile, Christoph Waltz takes charge in an important role as a priest of a secret order, and Matilda De Angelis, Ewens Abid, David Shields, and Guillaume de Tonquédec round out the cast.

As Dracula: A Love Tale's theatrical release is impending and Netflix has not yet confirmed availability on the service, fans of gothic romanticism must not let their desires starve. From the character-driven Interview with the Vampire, forbidden supernatural teenage romance in Twilight, to the grim sagas of The Fall of the House of Usher, Rebecca, Dracula (2020) or the classic Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992), Requiem for a Vampire (1973) and even the comedic Vampires vs. the Bronx are available to stream on Netflix in the meantime.
