Daniella Monet Celebrates Milestone as 'Victorious' Spinoff ‘Hollywood Arts’ Nears Debut
Victorious may have ended long ago, but its characters, like Cat and Jade, remain unforgettable. One such beloved character is finally returning for a spinoff, Hollywood Arts. Daniella Monet, who played Tori Vega’s older sister Trina Vega, is returning to reprise her role. And it is safe to say that even more drama and chaos than Victorious await Trina in the new series.
As for Monet, the actress is excited to celebrate a major milestone for the first season of the series as it moves a step closer to its release date.

Last year, Daniella Monet sparked excitement with the announcement of the Victorious spinoff Hollywood Arts. Now, in March 2026, the actress has shared another exciting update, revealing that the first season has officially wrapped filming. She announced the update through a heartfelt Instagram carousel post with several photos of her and the cast from the time of filming.
“Just shared the journey to this point and my thank you’s to everyone along the way in an open letter,” she wrote in the caption.
The fourth slide of her post also has a message hinting that the show could return for a second season, too.
“Happy Summer Break! See You Next Season! (Fall),” a huge sign below Hollywood Arts read.
Now that the show has wrapped filming for its first season, it is likely that Netflix will announce an official release date soon. Following its premiere, the series is also expected to land on Nickelodeon and Paramount+. While the Victorious spinoff is confirmed to return, an interesting question is whether it will also bring back more familiar faces from the original cast?

Brown, who played the role of Principal Helen Duwall in Victorious, will guest star in Hollywood Arts. The 26-episode spinoff follows Trina Vega as she returns to the series as an unqualified substitute teacher, where she ends up unexpectedly inspiring a new generation of students.
With the nostalgia of the famous high school and new characters and their stories, this is clearly an exciting new chapter for the Victorious universe.
