The look carried the sharp, directional signature of Vuitton’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière. 

The actress attended a special poolside screening of the Netflix film on Wednesday at the stylish Andaz Miami Beach in Miami Beach, where the setting, palm trees, ocean breeze, and a relaxed coastal dress code leaned heavily toward resort glamour. The outfit struck a clever balance: the leather top provided the visual punch, while the understated skirt anchored the look in elegant restraint.

There is a deliberate pivot in Dynevor's career. She is stepping away from ballroom romance and into riskier, genre-driven storytelling. And nowhere is that shift more dramatic than in Thrash.

If the Miami premiere looked glamorous, the making of Thrash was anything but. The shark survival thriller, produced by Adam McKay and directed by Tommy Wirkola, required Phoebe Dynevor to endure some of the most physically demanding conditions of her career.

In the film, she plays Lisa, a pregnant woman trapped in her car during a devastating hurricane while rising floodwaters bring bull sharks dangerously close. According to Dynevor, as told to The Hollywood Reporter, the role meant hours in freezing water layered with elaborate costuming. 

“I would put on three wetsuits every day, plus a pregnancy belly,” she explained. 

Cold water made the experience even more brutal. The production kept the water temperature low for realism, forcing the actress to rely on an improvised survival trick between takes. Through it all, she has gone from Regency ballrooms to hurricane-flooded streets filled with sharks. Phoebe Dynevor’s career arc has simply taken a thrilling turn, and if her striking Miami appearance is any indication, she is navigating that journey with both style and confidence.
