Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming rom-com movie has reunited her with Amy Sedaris. And the experience of working together again after decades was nostalgic for the Chef actress, who recently reflected on a memorable moment from their time filming together in the past. The last time the two shared the screen was in the 2002 film Maid in Manhattan, where Lopez starred as Marisa Ventura, while Sedaris appeared as Rachel Hoffberg.

Among her many fond memories from filming the movie, Sedaris recalled what it was like working alongside the 'I’m Real' singer.

During the premiere of Netflix’s Office Romance, Amy Sedaris opened up about how Jennifer Lopez was always singing in the middle of her takes. Now this habit does not come as a surprise for the singer, who has several hits such as 'On the Floor,' 'Let’s Get Loud,' 'Love Don’t Cost a Thing,' and 'If You Had My Love' to her name. For Sedaris, it remains one of the most memorable moments of working with Lopez.

“Singers sing. So between takes, she'd be humming or singing,” Sedaris told PEOPLE.

The film was also personally memorable for Sedaris, who was mourning the loss of her first rabbit at the time. She found comfort in working on the movie during that difficult period. Now, years later, she did not hesitate to take the opportunity to reunite with Lopez in another rom-com, even if only in a brief role.

“I like doing things, you get a small part. You get in, you get out, but it was good to see her again,” she said.

The 1997 biopic film starred Lopez as Selena and Olmos as her father, Abraham Quintanilla. During the Los Angeles premiere of Office Romance, Lopez spoke about the nostalgia of working with Olmos again and reminisced about their time filming Selena.

She recalled how the event reminded her of the time they took the cast photo for Selena. While there were heartwarming reunions behind the scenes, Office Romance promises to bring plenty of romance, workplace chaos, and heartwarming moments when it arrives on Netflix.
