Directed by Francis Lawrence, the movie explores Haymitch's journey to becoming a winner as well as the brutal events that changed his life. And during Haymitch's Hunger Games, each district was required to double their tributes, which made 4 tributes. Joseph Zada stars as Haymitch, alongside Whitney Peak as Lenore Dove Baird. The cast also includes Ralph Fiennes as President Snow, Elle Fanning as Effie Trinket, and Glenn Close as Drusilla Sickle.

Jesse Plemons will play the role of Plutarch Heavensbee. Before Plemons, late Philip Seymour-Hoffman played the role in Catching Fire and Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2. With a star-studded cast and a darker story, Sunrise on the Reaping is one of the franchise's most anticipated releases.
