Yes, Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku Season 2 returns on Sunday, January 11, 2026, on Netflix. However, the official X handle of the streaming titan has announced that the anime will be available only in its Asian catalog.

The anime adaptation of Yūji Kaku’s acclaimed manga, which concluded in 2021, will begin broadcast late-night in Japan via TV Tokyo and its affiliates starting 11:45 PM JST. Additionally, the streaming platforms in Japan will catch up to the domestic broadcast within 30 minutes of original airing.

Outside Asia, Crunchyroll has obtained the global streaming rights for Hell’s Paradise Season 2 and will be offering simulcast episodes as they air in Japan. This means North and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and other regions can also enjoy the weekly releases on Crunchyroll together with the rest of the world.

Crunchyroll will provide only subtitled episodes of Season 2 premiere on January 11th, 2026, at 7:15 AM PT in the US, as the dubbed version would take at least a couple of weeks to arrive. Catch up with Season 1 available on Crunchyroll and in many regions on Netflix to jog up the memory ahead of Gabimaru’s deadly fight, striking new visuals, and newly introduced executioners.

Hell's Paradise Season 2 brings to life the Lord Tensen and Hōrai arcs from Yūji Kaku’s manga, thereby further escalating the conflict between Gabimaru, Sagiri, Yuzuriha, and a few others and the frightening Tensen forces. Not only with the manga’s longest arc (51 chapters) but the narrative will also expand with new characters introducing Yamada Asaemon Shugen, Yamada Asaemon Jikka, Yamada Asaemon Kiyomaru, and Yamada Asaemon Isuzu.

Gabimaru, Sagiri, and the Asaemon executioners will be dealing with the new risks, moral dilemmas, and the struggle for their lives in the midst of strange monsters and changing alliances on Shinsenkyo. The season is expected to comprise a total of 13 episodes, releasing weekly.

MAPPA continues to bring its A-game with visually marvelous animation for the project, with director Kaori Makita guaranteeing a darker universe and more profound character growth.
