Fortunately, one of the most explosive anime franchises of the modern era is about to make its triumphant return to the world's biggest streaming platform.

One Punch Man will officially return to Netflix US soon, and for American anime fans, here is everything they need to know before tuning in to the series. 

On August 25, 2026, One Punch Man will make its flamboyant return to Netflix. The fact that several seasons of the anime will be available on Netflix US for the first time is the one thing that makes its comeback special. However, the first cour of the third season of the anime is already available to view on Hulu in the US, so it is uncertain whether Netflix US will get it too. 

The bald superhero’s adventures are already being streamed on Netflix in other countries.

In at least 36 countries worldwide, Netflix is home to One Punch Man. Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand are among the nations that have the privilege of hosting all three seasons.

On the other hand, the following nations only broadcast the first season: Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom. The show is accessible in Canada as well, although only the first two seasons. 

One Punch Man follows a hero just for the kicks and punches, Saitama, who trained so hard that his hair fell out. He is now absurdly overpowered, destroying cosmic dangers and scaring beasts with a single, devastating blow. He pulls his devoted cyborg protégé, Genos, into the bureaucratic Hero Association because he is desperate to experience the rush of combat once more. They navigate crazy villains and oddball heroes together while Saitama comically looks for an opponent that will not blow up right away.

The anime got everyone singing its praises for the straightforward premise and Studio Madhouse's amazing animation in the first season. However, One Punch Man's popularity has decreased over time, partly because of the long wait times between seasons, even though the franchise itself is still well-liked. Additionally, fans have harshly criticized the animation quality after the series moved to J.C. Staff studios.
