Cosmic Princess Kaguya! brings together a talented voice cast to make the characters feel alive. Yuko Natsuyoshi voices Kaguya, the mysterious cosmic princess who suddenly appears on Earth. Anna Nagase plays Iroha Sakayori, a 17-year-old high school student juggling school and part-time work, who becomes Kaguya’s friend and Saori Hayami voices Yachiyo Runami, the manager of Tsukuyomi. 

The animation comes from Studio Colorido in collaboration with Shingo Yamashita’s Studio Chromato, and the character designs are by Hechima and Akihiro Nagae.

Cosmic Princess Kaguya! plot

The story follows Iroha, whose life is busy and stressful, until she discovers a glowing telephone pole with a baby inside. She brings the child home, and it quickly grows into Kaguya, a girl her age with a playful and self-centered personality. Kaguya convinces Iroha to help her stream in Tsukuyomi, a virtual world where people can explore creativity and try new things.

The two team up, with Iroha writing songs and producing, while Kaguya sings and entertains online. Their friendship grows, but Kaguya’s mysterious origins bring danger, as forces from the Moon want her back.
