Netflix has stepped into a strong presence in 2026 with a powerhouse lineup of action and comedy anime, including Beastars: Final Season Part 2, One Piece, and many more. This stunning display of anime excitement kicked off with the return of the fans’ favorite, Baki. The long-awaited battle between Baki and his father, Yujiro Hanma, who is the strongest man on Earth, impressed young fans in Baki Hanma.

BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai on Netflix will follow the martial artist after his battle against his father, Yujiro Hanma. As Baki and his fellow fighters believe that the battle is over, they are thrown into a new chaos and battle in the new series. Japan’s greatest swordsman, Miyamoto Musashi, is resurrected with some help from science. 

He will be the antagonist in the series. And there is nothing but chaos waiting ahead for Baki. With a new threat, the series promises to show new martial arts techniques and much more, and already has much hype among fans. After all, Baki is returning after 3 years!

And who will be joining him in this fight?

It will be bizarre and unacceptable for BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai to return without its teenage protagonist, Baki. So, there will be both familiar and new faces. Here are some of the names that will appear in the series.

Baki: He is a teen martial artist, also known as Champion. The anime showed his battle against his father. Nobunaga Shimazaki will lend his voice to the character.

Mushashi Miyamoto: He is the antagonist in the new series. And Naoya Uchida will be the voice actor for the character.

Yujiro Hanma: Akio Ôtsuka is the voice actor for the role.

Sea King Retsu: Rikiya Koyama will be the voice behind the character. 

As for the release date of the show, it is not far away.

The much-anticipated anime series of the year, BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai, is all set to arrive on Netflix on February 26. It will have 13 episodes, and all will be released at the same time for fans to binge-watch. But until this new series arrives, one can keep watching the other explosive anime releases.
