Netflix confirms Baki-Dou: The Invincible Samurai premiere date
Netflix has officially released the first trailer for BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai, confirming that the new series will premiere on February 26, 2026. The show will arrive with all 13 episodes, giving fans the chance to binge the entire arc as soon as it drops.

The trailer signals the next evolution of the franchise following the conclusion of Baki Hanma’s intense battle against his father, Yujiro Hanma. With that legendary conflict behind him, Baki’s journey is moving toward a new kind of challenge, one that promises to shake up the underground arena once again.
But if Baki has already faced the strongest creature alive, what kind of enemy could possibly raise the stakes even higher?
Baki’s next battle brings a legendary samurai into the arena
The story picks up after Baki’s showdown with Yujiro, as Baki and the other elite fighters are left feeling restless without a worthy opponent to face. That changes when a mysterious plan begins to unfold deep beneath Tokyo Skytree, 364 meters underground, leading to the resurrection of Japan’s most legendary swordsman, Musashi Miyamoto.
As fighters like Doppo Orochi, Jack Hanma, and Kaoru Hanayama prepare to return to battle, Baki also steps forward, ready to meet the challenge head-on. This sets up an unprecedented clash between Baki, the strongest underground fighter, and Musashi, a master samurai whose combat style is unlike anything the modern arena has seen.
