Kanye West, despite his controversies, is an undeniable musical icon. The 24 Grammy Awards winner has mentored the next generation of rappers such as Travis Scott. Moreover, over the span of his musical career, his hits have often found their way to defining pop culture moments. However, despite his many wins, he also has one notorious trait.

The ‘Donda’ singer has a history of standing up for what he believed was right. Without much concern for the future, he has had his way of speech. While we all are aware of him and Taylor Swift, Cardi B, too, has found her way.

Kanye West called out Cardi B as a replacement for Nicki Minaj

A little over a decade back, a famed Kanye West would go on stage at the MTV VMAs, snatch the microphone off award-winner Taylor Swift’s hands, and proclaim that it was Beyoncé who deserved it better. Now, a leaked video from an alleged Ye documentary from 2018, has him calling shots at ‘Bongos’ singer Cardi B. In the video, the rapper can be heard over the phone stating that “Cardi B is a plant by the illuminati.”

Elaborating it further, he added that Cardi B was there “to replace” his decades-old collaborator, Nicki Minaj. The rapper further went on to accuse the ‘Bodak’ singer of not having any clue and even of not writing her own verses. West then goes on to ramble that the industry merely implanted her to upstage Minaj. Ironically, just five years later of making these comments, Ye would collaborate with Cardi B on ‘Hot Sh*t’.

In a “great headspace”, Ye throws a private listening party for his new album

Mere days ago reports had surfaced that Kanye West was “in a great headspace” and had minted ten songs in a week. Now, following up on it, photos of the rapper emerged on social media where he was claimed to have thrown a private listening party at his makeshift studio. The photos had Ye in action to the apparent beats of his latest music playing in the background.

Most importantly, a whiteboard with numerous nuclear song titles mentioned made a comeback in the set of photographs. The reports corroborate earlier ones of a West album being on an imminent release schedule. As such, the hype is at an all-time high as fans are all but ready to take over the Internet.
