Ye Retreats East of Reality: $170K Rehab, Fallout From Nazi Rants, and the Bianca Censori Breakdown

Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, once celebrated solely for his brilliance, has become equally known for his battles with mental health. His controversies have not simply followed him; they were often sparked by his actions. For years, his erratic behavior was dismissed as spectacle, but behind the headlines was a man quietly unraveling under the weight of public scrutiny, personal loss, and inner conflict. After years of backlash and turmoil, much of it fueled by his unraveling, Ye is finally seeking help, taking his first true step toward healing.
Ye's love life with Bianca Censori has spiraled alongside his public downfall. After Nazi rants and relentless backlash, he now turned to rehab, a bid for peace amid personal chaos.

Ye has checked into a luxury rehab facility with a reported price tag of $170,000 per week, offering private chefs, yoga, and daily therapy sessions. According to RadarOnline, the decision came in the wake of public backlash over his racist outbursts and mounting pressure at home, with wife Bianca Censori reportedly considering separation or even involuntary commitment. Though his lawyer insisted the stay was based on medical advice, an insider suggested, “The timing of his stay seems suspect,” adding, “He’s bleeding money and credibility.”

The controversy deepened in February, when Ye publicly rejected his bipolar diagnosis, claiming instead that he is autistic. The spiral did not stop there. Just one day after that jaw-dropping claim, Ye flooded X with vile antisemitic remarks, declaring “I love Hitler” and “I am a Nazi,” while disturbingly stating that he had full control over his wife of two and a half years. Amid the chaos and mental health issues, the truth behind Ye’s second name change has finally surfaced.
Despite swirling online rumors and sketchy documentation, Ye has not changed his name a second time—turns out, the internet jumped the gun on this identity plot twist.
Ye’s name stays put despite internet speculation
A representative for the 'Heartless' rapper told Page Six on Monday that Ye has not changed his name to “Ye Ye,” despite online speculation. The confusion stemmed from a technical quirk- an online form required both a first and last name, leading to the duplication. The misunderstanding gained traction after Page Six obtained California business filings submitted by Ye’s CFO, Hussain Lalani, which listed the name “Ye Ye” as manager of several ventures, including Yeezy Record Label, LLC, and Yeezy Apparel.

Though previous documents listed him as “Ye West,” the rapper made it clear back in 2018 that he wanted to be known simply as Ye, declaring his identity shift on X and later making it legal in 2021 for “personal reasons.” Despite this, the music world often clings to his old name. As Ye battles clinical mental health challenges and seeks solace in rehab, his life remains as captivating as ever.
