Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, along with Kim Kardashian, is determined to make their children stars even before they cross the first ten years of their lives. Of course, their status as A-listers helped in their children’s popularity, but the ex-couple also let their kids follow their heart. North West, who has already become the youngest artist ever to enter the Top 50 Global Chart on Spotify, is seemingly not going to stop at just this one feat. The 10-year-old is taking her career ahead with a star-studded live performance.

Considering the Disney-girl she is, what could have been a better stage for her to inaugurate her first proper solo live performance than a Disney event itself.

Disney has brought forth a celebration of the 30th Anniversary of The Lion King with a live-to-film concert event, alongside Fulwell 73 Productions, AMP Worldwide and Live Nation-Hewitt Silva. As per a report from Variety, North West will make her Hollywood Bowl singing debut at the very event that will honor all the Lion King adaptations over the years. She will perform 'I Just Can't Wait to Be King', a song which was first featured in the 1994 film and then in the 2019 adaptation, at the first of the two-nights of the concert.

The first time fans saw the daughter of the two fashion moguls perform was at the Paris Fashion Week in 2020, where North West joined a choir of children to perform remixed versions of religious songs. Since then there have been a lot of TikTok videos here and there that showed her knack for performing and singing. And then came the 'Vultures' listening party that changed it all. The little one was featured in Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s 'Talking / Once Again' from the joint album. However, it is not just North West who is taking her career ahead under Disney’s umbrella.

Earlier this year, Disney made an announcement of signing two new faces for their upcoming Lion King projects. They signed the eldest daughters of Beyoncé and Jay-Z and Kim Kardashian and Ye- North West and Blue Ivy Carter. While West got the concert alongside Billy Eichner, Nathan Lane, and special guest Jennifer Hudson, Blue Ivy Carter is going to star in the live-action prequel Mufasa: The Lion King, which was announced by the studio on April 29.

Considering that both the starkids are following in the footsteps of their parents, their casting in the projects was a guarantee of buzz around it. And it also works for the celebrity kids given the well-oiled PR and marketing machinery Disney boasts. As for those who want to see if North West has done justice to the opportunity given to her, the Lion King concert will be streamed on Disney+ at a later date under the title The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl
