Ye Is Set to Join the 2024 Rap Beef With His ‘Vultures 2' Verses, Insiders Hint

Published 04/13/2024, 10:53 PM EDT

The biggest rap feud of 2024 has already begun at the start of the year, bringing back the competitiveness of hip-hop. Earlier this month, producer Metro Boomin' and rapper Future unleashed their collaborative album 'We Don't Trust You'. The album featured a track, ‘Like That,' which became the central point of the beef. In the track, Kendrick Lamar allegedly took shots at J. Cole, who swiftly retaliated with '7 Minute Drill' from his surprise drop 'Might Delete Later’. However, J. Cole soon removed the diss track from streaming platforms, signaling a potential ceasefire.

Just when fans believed the feud had simmered down, a startling report surfaced indicating that Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, was ready to fan the flames once more with his upcoming release.

Given Ye's iconic status in the rap world and his history with all parties involved in the feud, it was inevitable for him to insert himself into the feud and offer his perspective. And a recent report from the X fan page GoodAssSub suggested that Ye might be channeling the ongoing feud between Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and Future into his verses on 'Vultures 2'. An insider with the username, OSAMA BIN LEAKER, shared this news with the fan page.

Chances are that Ye will be siding with Kendrick Lamar in this feud, particularly given his recent shoutout to the rapper amidst the escalating tensions. Ye's strained ties with both Drake and J. Cole also present further reasons for him to intervene and possibly address his own differences with them. However, with the release of 'Vultures 2' still uncertain, fans are in for a long wait to witness Ye's contribution to this rap beef.

Yet, renowned for supporting his fans during tough times, Ye released a new official release date for the second volume, suggesting a potential drop on May 3rd. Amid the excitement, Ye Fandom, a dedicated X fan page, has been tirelessly reaching out to Playboi Carti for any hints regarding the album.

At first, they urged him to convince Ye for a free "streaming" release, and now they have come right out and asked if Carti is involved in 'Vultures 2', to which the rapper playfully replied, "U know already".
