After establishing her career as a musician

Willow Smith Jams to This 66-Year-Old Jazz Classic, While Wishing She Was in New York

Willow Smith [https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/willow-smith/] is not stopping
at one genre and is rather exploring a new one every day. The 22-year-old has
taken social media by storm, with her single ‘Whip My Hair’ going viral on the
platforms. The world has seen the famous daughter of Will Smith
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/will-smith/] and Jada Pinkett Smith
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/jada-pinkett-smith/] not only change her
career from acting to singing, but get progressively better.

Fans have seen her rock-style performance so far, whether through her songs or
Coachella performances. But the budding artist clearly does not want to stick to
a genre. Like her other posts, she has returned with another interesting song,
leaving people in awe and support.

WILLOW SMITH VIBES TO THIS CLASSIC 1940S SONG

Music passes through generations, with music lovers rediscovering it in their
own way. Fans often see Willow Smith perform different styles of songs,
especially on her Instagram, but the latest one has left everyone on a nostalgic
trip. In the latest upload, she can be seen strumming on a guitar in her home
studio, vibing to Duke Ellington’s song. “Wish I was in <NY>”, she captioned the
post. Smith did not sing the song but mouthed the words and added the classic
track named ‘Take the, a’ Train’. This was just one of her practice sessions,
but a new and surprising entry into the world of jazz.

This track is considered to be one of the most important ones in the history of
jazz. It is an ode to life in the 1960s, especially of the elite black Americans
in Harlem and their lifestyle. Fans in the comments were ecstatic, and some even
hoped for her to release a jazz album in the near future.

started making music first.
