Will Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Make Their Red Carpet Debut at the 2024 Met Gala? Here Are All the Reasons They Should

Swifties are back at cooking up theories yet again. The rumored 2024 Met Gala
guest lineup has just surfaced with big names like Zendaya, Margot Robbie
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/margot-robbie/], Jenna Ortega, Lana Del Rey,
Bad Bunny, Kim Kardashian [https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/kim-kardashian/],
and the highlight, Taylor Swift
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/taylor-swift/]. Taylor Swift’s last
appearance at the Met Gala was in 2016 when she was romantically linked with the
Marvel heartthrob Tom Hiddleston, which became all the more speculative as they
danced the night away.

As the 2024 affair edges closer, fans are looking forward to the pop star’s now
publicly acknowledged significant other, Travis Kelce. And there are many
reasons for them to believe that this could come to fruition.

HINTS THAT TAYLOR SWIFT AND TRAVIS KELCE MIGHT ATTEND THE MET GALA 2024

Taylor Swift has a rich history with the Met Gala. Rumors suggest that it was at
the 2016 Met Gala where she first met her six-year partner, Joe Alwyn. And now,
fans of Tayvis are convinced that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will attend the
2024 Met Gala. The first hint supporting this theory is the scheduling
coincidence. The Met Gala falls on May 6th, and Swift’s Eras tour calendar says
that there will be no performances on that particular evening.

An even more significant clue is the recent observation made by the fan account
@taylahschild. The page noticed that Swift’s longtime stylist, Joseph Cassell,
has recently followed @theofficialmetgala. It is the same account that posted
the speculated guest list. Should the songstress make an appearance at the Met
Gala, it could serve as the perfect opportunity for her and Travis Kelce to
officially debut their relationship on the red carpet. Moreover, with the new
album coming, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/music-news-is-taylor-swift-the-tortured-poets-department-a-pop-album-with-a-dash-of-explicit-edge/],
the timing could not be more fitting.

It is this upcoming album that has made Taylor Swift’s attendance at the Met
Gala all the more viable. Here is how.

TAYLOR SWIFT’S UPCOMING ALBUM OPENED DOORS FOR HER MET GALA COMEBACK

Taylor Swift’s eleventh studio album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, will hit
the waves on April 19 this year. The upcoming release has cleared the path for
its preparations, granting the busy musician a moment of reprieve. It has also
brought the Eras Tour concerts to a standstill. The glitzy tour of the ‘Cruel
Summer’ singer last came to a halt at its Southeast Asian stop, Singapore, in
March.

The six-night concert event wrapped up on March 9th and signaled the beginning
of an onstage break for Swift. This pause in performances allowed for the
promotion and anticipation of her upcoming album. Along with that, it
significantly enhanced the likelihood of the pop star’s appearance on the red
carpet of the Met Gala with her boyfriend, especially given that last year, it
was reportedly the Eras Tour that caused Swift to skip the 2023 Gala.
