Taylor Swift, whose 'The Life of a Showgirl' is now live, has confirmed that fans will not be seeing her tour in support of the album anytime soon. After the exhausting 21-month run of her record-breaking Eras Tour, the singer, on October 3, admitted to BBC Radio that the idea of jumping straight back into another marathon of shows feels overwhelming. Not saying an absolute no to the aspect of the music business, though, she explained that she cherishes performing and would therefore want to do it “really well” when she does it next. Rushing into another tour would not allow her to maintain that standard.
With no immediate tour planned now, Taylor Swift, per her account, is embracing this period of rest and personal space. She revealed on BBC Radio that stepping away from the stage has allowed her to reclaim simple joys she missed during the Eras Tour. “I am so good right now. My joints are good. I am baking, I have hobbies again!” Swift asserted, adding that she could not pick up any hobbies during the grueling years of the Eras Tour. Meanwhile, during the same conversation, Swift also shared why she chose to reveal her album on her fiancé Travis Kelce’s podcast.

Known for defying expectations, the 14-time Grammy winner wanted to surprise her audience and break from traditional announcement formats. Choosing a football podcast, where she realized she might not be welcome by some, allowed her just the same.
