For those curious, Stationhead is an application that enables influencers and friends to host and discover music. Functioning as a personalized DJ booth, the app runs stations around the clock, allowing individuals to curate their own playlists and engage in discussions. Additionally, users can interact with listeners in real-time and even invite friends to join as live guests. As for Taylor Swift's popularity on Stationhead, credit goes to her management team, Taylor Nation.

On Thursday, Taylor Nation took to X to announce the upcoming 'The Tortured Poets Department' board meeting. Scheduled for 1:00 PM EST, the meeting aims to gather every fan in the Swiftie hearing room for a mass streaming of the anthology. The tweet also provided a link to the hearing room, encouraging fans to log in and synchronize with Apple Music for a shared listening party and to further discuss the album.

Nearly a week into Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated launch, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, the album and the artist have already hit a benchmark. As of now, the record has become the only album in Spotify history to surpass over a billion streams within a single week. Spotify, with whom Swift also teamed up for the biggest promotional trick of the year, announced the same on Wednesday.

Previously, within the first 24 hours of availability, the record became the most streamed album in a single day while Swift became the most streamed artist. Furthermore, it has also earned the biggest first-day streams in Apple Music’s history in contrast to other pop albums. Additionally, the album broke the pop artist’s own record for the largest sales week for an album on vinyl with over 800,000 copies sold. Hence, with Taylor Nation streaming a listening party, the numbers are only expected to grow as new records get broken every day.
