In the US, the Trump Gold Card functions as a component of an immigration and investor visa program. President Donald Trump established the golden card system to create a swift residency option for affluent international corporate investors or individuals with a visa who wish to enter the United States and become citizens.
The program requires individual applicants to submit a $1 million payment to the US Treasury, which ranges upto $2 million per employee for a corporate sponsor, along with a processing fee to the Department of Human Services (DHS) costing approximately $15,000, which Nicki Minaj seems to have been exempted from as per her free of c. They must also complete background checks and immigration authority screening procedures.
"A $1 million gift upon completion of the individual’s vetting is evidence that the individual will substantially benefit the United States," the official website of the Trump Gold Card states, which provides separate individual and corporate card application options reads.
Applicants who pass through the program may acquire permanent resident status, which matches the EB-1 and EB-2 visa programs. They will then have the option to become naturalized citizens. The Trump Administration presents its Gold Card program as an alternative that would replace existing investor visa systems. The program lets wealthy individuals buy permanent residence status in the United States.
Following the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services' background checking and vetting process, applicants would be notified of their citizenship approval, per the official website. They will then receive the same card as Nicki Minaj's prized possession that took the internet by storm.
The Trinidadian rapper has been turning heads ever since she shifted to the right side of the political spectrum. This time, she wants everyone to know why.
