Speaking candidly about his wedding, Travis Kelce claimed that exchanging vows with Taylor Swift was the high point of his life. Taylor Swift finally got her fairy-tale wedding at the iconic Madison Square Garden on July 3, 2026, in front of over 1,000 celebrity guests. As much as it was a masterclass in institutional control and a modern-day royal wedding, the event in itself was a major pop culture event in the current times. But what about the couple? What did they feel about their own wedding?
We finally have an answer from Travis Kelce who called it the highlight of his life.

During the Kansas City Chiefs' training camp on Wednesday, Travis Kelce answered some questions from reporters regarding their New York City wedding, which took place at Madison Square Garden over the Fourth of July weekend.
"It was a fun offseason, man. The wedding was the best night of my life. I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us,” Kelce said about the wedding.
On July 3, at approximately 7:30 p.m. ET, a marquee outside Madison Square Garden lit up with the words "JUST&T MARRIED!," a clever play on the couple's initials. Swift and Kelce both donned Christian Dior Haute Couture ensembles created by creative director Jonathan Anderson; however, images from the wedding ceremony have not yet been made public. Swift's jewelry was from Cartier, while Christian Louboutin custom-made their shoes.

According to reports, the pair defied convention by forgoing bridal and groom's parties in favor of a best man and a "man of honor." Swift's "man of honor" was her younger brother, Austin Swift, while Kelce's best man was his elder brother, Jason Kelce. The wedding was officiated by actor Adam Sandler.
The intimate affair was not that intimate, with stars flocking to MSG in droves, and it felt nothing less than an Oscar or a Grammy extravaganza.
A wedding illuminated by the light of a thousand stars
Naturally, there were a lot of prominent people at the event, especially because Taylor Swift is well-known for having a big social circle that includes actress Dakota Johnson, supermodel Gigi Hadid, and her boyfriend Bradley Cooper. Those three well-known celebrities were among the first to be seen en route to Swift and Travis Kelce's lavish celebration.

Lena Dunham, Ed Sheeran, the Haim sisters, Camila Cabello, Zoe Kravitz, and regular Swift collaborators Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff are among the other members of Swift's inner circle to make the wedding guest list. Karlie Kloss, Swift's former closest friend, was also included on the wedding guest list. The celebration was totally insane, and it was bound to be, if it was going to be, the highlight of the couple’s life.
