Selena Gomez advocates for peace amid Israel and Hamas conflict while discussing her long absence from social media through Instagram

“Tragically sick”- Selena Gomez Speaks for Peace Amidst Israel and Hamas Conflict, as She Addresses Her Break From Social Media

With a staggering 430 million followers in her court, Selena Gomez is no small
fish in the sea. Her every move goes under the watchful gaze of her devoted
fans. What sets Gomez apart is her innate kindness. This was most evident when
she championed empathy and goodwill towards Hailey Bieber, turning the other
cheek like a true saint. Not to mention, she lent her voice to the clarion call
for better mental health. Surely, the ‘Wolves’ singer is a bona fide icon,
blessed with talent and kindness to boot.

Once more, Gomez opened up about her social media hiatus in the midst of the
Israel-Palestine turmoil. She advocated for peace and revealed a deeper layer to
her break.

SELENA GOMEZ’S HEARTFELT SILENCE AND A CALL FOR CHANGE

Selena Gomez had gone as quiet as a mouse on social media, leaving her fans
hanging in suspense since her last post on October 7th. The air was thick with
anticipation for updates from the songstress. However, in a recent Instagram
story, she unveiled the cause of her prolonged silence.
[https://www.instagram.com/stories/selenagomez/3225481832550897590/] It turns
out that the ongoing horrors of the Israel-Palestine conflict had hit her heart
like a ton of bricks. But what really tugged at her heartstrings was her having
a baby sister, making her exclaim, “Having a sister, everyday has made me
tragically sick”.

The crooner of ‘Lose You to Love Me’ made it crystal clear that the tragic loss
of innocent young lives cut her to the core. As she delved into the reasoning
behind her hiatus, she declared her unwavering commitment to go to the ends of
the earth for the sake of children and the purity of innocent lives. The actress
firmly held the belief that merely throwing up hashtags and stories would not be
a magic wand to transform the world, leaving her fans in a state of deep despair
over her decision to take a step back.

While the singer expressed her concern for the innocent children who are around
the age of her younger sister, she also displayed her warmth and worry for her
bestie, Taylor Swift. [https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/taylor-swift/] She did
so by shedding light on how Swift’s romance with Travis Kelce had taken off like
a rocket, and it left her feeling a tad uneasy.

SELENA GOMEZ OPENS UP ABOUT TAYLOR SWIFT’S LOVE LIFTOFF

Rumors swirled as Gomez expressed her concern over Swift’s whirlwind romance
with NFL player Kelce. Gomez believed the relationship was moving at a breakneck
speed, a departure from Swift’s usual low-profile love affairs. Swift had
previously kept her six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn under wraps. So, Gomez
found it surprising to see her in public with Kelce’s mother and hand-in-hand
with him in front of the paparazzi, all within a month of dating.

Gomez’s concerns extended to the Haim sisters, possibly explaining their absence
from a recent girls’ night out with Swift, Blake Lively

Turner. Even Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, also expressed worries

about his brother’s newfound fame and the rapid pace of the relationship.
Despite the concerns, Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance took off in early
September. And the duo continues to give moments for fans to adore them even
more.
